COVID-19 Club FAQs

This page will be updated as more information is gathered and we prepare for return to regular operations.
Q: Can my team/coach hold optional training sessions?
A: No. Since the purpose of the suspension is to help reduce the number of people that come into contact with the virus, no CISC staff members will be authorized to provide supplemental training for their teams or individuals. While we understand you may want to seek alternate training options for your player, we ask that you also consider the emphasis on social distancing to reduce the potential spread of the virus.
Q: Is April 1st a definitive return to play date?
A: Any decisions on lengthier suspension of play or operations, if deemed necessary by our health partners and local authorities, will be communicated.
In addition, some of the leagues in which our teams compete have posted lengthier returns to competition, tournaments and events. For those dates, see our League COVID-19 Resource page.
Q: Will club staff be available to assist members with non-COVID-19 related questions and guidance during the suspension?
A: Though our offices will be closed, club staff will be working remotely to continue operations and member services.
The best method of communication during this time is through email. If you are unsure of who to contact, please email our general information inbox email@example.com and a staff member will guide you.
All staff will be adhering to standard communication protocol, including our 48 (business) hour response time.
We encourage all team specific and coach communication to continue through Teamsnap when available, keeping in line with our Keep Us Safe policy.

Q: If I have member service questions relating to COVID-19 and the temporary suspension, who should I contact?

Q: We were planning on attending club sponsored events during the suspension, are those still on? (Pro Games, Clinics, Festivals or Community Events)
A: During the suspension of operations, all club sponsored events are shut down. Teams scheduled to travel should stay at home.
Q: We recently attended Tryouts/PPP or ID sessions, what is next?
A: Directors of programs that are currently participating in the ID and Player Placement Process will be contacting you directly with program specific information.
Q: Will all scheduled events after April 1st remain as scheduled?
A: Currently, events after April 1st remain as scheduled. We will continue to monitor the situation and if an extension of the suspension of activities is required, we will notify all members as soon as that decision is made.
Q: Recreation soccer was starting this Saturday, what is the status of that program? How will we be receiving communication in the Recreation program during the suspension?
A: The Recreation Director will be contacting you directly with program specific information.
