Independence North's 2021 WPSL Fixture List Revealed
CHARLOTTE (April 20, 2021) – On Tuesday, Charlotte Independence Soccer Club unveiled Charlotte Independence North's WPSL schedule for the 2021 season, running from May 26 to July 11. Independence North will compete in the Northern Division in WPSL’s Carolinas Conference, with the fixture dates being announced today.
Independence North will begin their season with a home match against Wake FC.
Independence Central are penciled in for their first away clash against Oak City on Wednesday, June 2. Independence Central will also face Wake FC on June 14 (away), and NC Fusion on June 16 (away) to conclude a three-game road trip.
Greg Ashton's side are then set to take on Oak City on June 20 (home), Wake FC on June 23 (home), and Oak City on June 27 (away).
They conclude the season with a home match against NC Fusion on Sunday, July 11.

The Women’s Premier Soccer League strives to provide the highest level of developmental opportunities for amateur players in the United States. Entering its 22nd season, the WPSL has grown to more than 100 clubs and is the largest women’s soccer league in the world.
"The WPSL’s Carolinas Conference is an extremely competitive league which will challenge the players and coaching staff," added Ashton. "I am really looking forward to getting out on the field in May to work with Independence North."
