Lola Bitti Selected to U.S. Youth Futsal International Team
Independence Soccer's Lola Bitti Selected for USYF International Team
September 1, 2026 - Charlotte, NC - Charlotte Independence Soccer Club (CISC) is proud to celebrate a remarkable achievement by futsal player Lola Bitti, who has been selected as one of only 12 girls nationwide to represent the U.S. Youth Futsal International Team. The honor recognizes Lola's dedication, perseverance, and passion for the game, while highlighting the impact of her continued growth through the Charlotte Independence Soccer Club's Futsal Program.
For Lola, futsal has become much more than an additional sport, it has been a platform for developing confidence, creativity, and the ability to think quickly under pressure. The fast-paced nature of futsal has sharpened her technical ability, decision-making, and composure in tight spaces, while encouraging her to play with freedom and express herself on the ball.
Those qualities were on full display at the U.S. Youth Futsal National Championships, where Lola confidently executed a rainbow during competition, a memorable moment that reflected the creativity and confidence she has developed through countless hours of training.
Independence Soccer's coaching staff has been instrumental in Lola's journey, Rebecca, Lola's mom says. Creating an environment where players are challenged to improve while feeling supported every step of the way. The club's futsal program emphasizes not only technical development, but also confidence, decision-making, and genuine love for the game.
"One of the greatest lessons Lola has learned through Charlotte Independence Futsal is that the game isn't just about technical ability, it's about learning to play with heart. We're incredibly grateful for the coaches and the positive impact they've had on her journey," said Bitti.
For Lola, being selected to the U.S. Youth Futsal International Team is an exciting milestone and an opportunity to continue pursuing her goals within the sport.
"Being selected for the U.S. Youth Futsal International Team was an honor. I'm thankful to all my coaches who have helped me grow. This experience has motivated me to keep working hard and chasing my dreams," said Bitti
Independence Soccer’s Supplemental Programs Director, Pat White, has witnessed Lola’s development firsthand and believes her work ethic and creativity have helped set her apart.
"Lola's relentless work rate and natural freedom on the futsal court set her apart. For such a young player, she has a unique ability to recognize opportunities and see the game unfolding moments before it happens, and we are honored to be a part of her journey," said White.
Lola's selection to the U.S. Youth Futsal International Team is a testament to her commitment to continuous improvement. Congratulations, Lola! The entire Independence Soccer family is proud of your accomplishment and can't wait to see what comes next.
