Independence Soccer Welcomes Prince Ojok onto the Technical Staff
June 1, 2026 - Charlotte, NC - Charlotte Independence Soccer Club (CISC) is excited to announce the addition of Prince Ojok to the club’s Technical Staff. Ojok will coach within the Pre MLS East program, serving players and families in the Matthews and Mint Hill areas while supporting the continued growth and development of those locations.
Ojok brings extensive coaching, leadership, and player development experience to Charlotte Independence Soccer Club. Most recently, he served as Director at Charlotte Soccer Academy, where he oversaw day-to-day club operations, player development initiatives, coaching education, and membership growth while also coaching teams within the club. His previous experience includes leadership roles with AC CT Soccer Club and CT Rush Soccer Club, along with collegiate coaching experience as an Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at Western CT State University.
Holding both a USSF B License and UEFA B Coaching License, Ojok has built a reputation for creating positive, development-focused environments that emphasize technical growth, accountability, and long-term player progression. His passion for mentoring young athletes and developing coaches aligns closely with Charlotte Independence Soccer Club’s mission and vision for continued growth.
